Good staff. Tons of food for our large Friends Dinner group. Bocce was an excellent finale for a couple of hours.
Jason is the most friendly Bartender/Server ever. He is very accommodating and cares about your experience at the restaurant. Very knowledgeable about the bar drinks and made me one of his special cocktails (you have to visit him to find out what it is!). He recommended the calamari and lamb lollipops-they were so good, I will be coming back for more. I will always come back and request for Jason and if you ever visit you should too.
This is a nice restaurant with reservable bocce courts for social events (some indoors, some outdoors). The food and drinks were pretty good here -- good portion size and taste, would come back for just the food. Bocce ball is pretty accessible as a game, but since the court is so big, it was a bit hard to make it a real social gathering while you are playing. When you reserve a court, it doesn't come with an associated sit-down table, so folks have to stand around with food and drinks, which was a bit awkward - maybe some high top tables spaced out near the court might have made it a bit easier to socialize and manage the food/drinks. They have a preset menu that you can pick from for social events like this, and the pastas and pizzas were all on point. There was also a plentiful drinks menu. The desserts were a bit too much in terms of sweetness and richness for me, but everything else was a hit. I have also been here once before on my own, and enjoyed a great pasta dish as well (you can order ahead online). Private parking lot just outside the restaurant, but it is very very small, so look for street parking nearby in the neighborhood if there are no more spots. Staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure to come by to top off drink requests and check on the food.
Never knew this place existed. So thankful to family friends for hosting an event here and allowing us to join in on the fun. Such a cool spot for family and friends to play bocce ball, eat yummy Italian foods, chat at the long tables, and order drinks at their bar. Love how the interior was decorated! There are 4 big lanes inside to play with. Such an easy sport to pick up and enjoy with others. Good service when creating our drinks and helping bus our areas! Hope to come back one day to try other cocktails, play some more and check out their outdoor patio.
I visited Campo Di Bocce in Los Gatos for a weekday lunchtime social event, and it turned out to be a great venue for bonding and team activities. By the time we started playing, almost all the bocce courts were full, so it's a popular spot, especially for hosting group events. If you're planning to visit, I recommend brushing up on how to play bocce ball ahead of time, as the staff only explained the rules once. There's a parking lot available, though it can fill up quickly. Fortunately, street parking is also an option if you need it. As for the food, our group ordered a variety of items, including chicken wings, sausages, pizzas, crostinis, and salsa with guac. The pizzas were okay but unfortunately a bit soggy and didn't hold their shape well. On the other hand, the chicken wings were delicious--super tender, and the meat fell right off the bone. They paired well with ranch. The sausages were a crowd favorite. I also tried a couple of non-alcoholic drinks, including the mango Italian soda and a mango-peach mocktail. Sadly, I can't recommend either. The mocktail had a bitter aftertaste that didn't sit well, and the Italian soda tasted like diluted artificial syrup - neither tasted like mango. The ambiance inside was cozy and inviting, with a lot of wood elements that made it feel warm and rustic. The bocce courts were well-maintained and nicely sized, with a user-friendly scoring system in the back that made keeping track of the game easy. Overall, Campo Di Bocce is a great place for social gatherings and events with fun bocce ball action. However, while the drinks and pizzas could be better, the atmosphere and experience still make it worth a visit.
My family and I have been going to play bocce here for at least two or three years. I want to say we started as a pandemic was lifting because I remember going and playing with masks on. Lol while outdoors, we still wore the masks to be safe. Anyways, everything is always great whenever you come! Granted, some of the servers have changed over the years as well as hostess, the food is always huge portions, decent prices, and very filling for your belly proportion. Lol and the games are always incredibly competitive! There's also , a host in case you need to learn how to play who will tell you how the game works! Everything is always a great family environment with a sports bar at the front in case you need that as well and delicious, mouthwatering desserts!! I want to say they have 4 indoor courts as well as outdoors but we usually play outdoors. We've also played indoors during the rainy season. Lol my family is very competitive and we always love a good sexist team, since we play men versus women. Lol this was the first time the girls have lost in two years, but I guess it's OK. Maybe we'll play indoors for the fall so we can win again. Lol, great way to spend the afternoon or day with your family!!
Wow! What an awesome place! It was our first time at Campo Di Bocce and we weren't sure what to expect, especially with regard to the food. While we were expecting bowling alley food, we were blown away by the restaurant-quality Italian food we received instead. Everything was fresh and plated beautifully, including the fresh bread with oil and vinegar. As an Italian, I tend to be very critical of Italian food prepared outside of Italy, and this place did an excellent job! Additionally, the entire staff was amazing and super friendly and helpful and everyone really seemed to be enjoying their job. It had been a couple decades since I last played bocce and needed a refresher. A staff member offered to explain the rules to me and my wife, and we were playing and having a great time a few minutes later. I highly recommend Campo Di Bocce for great food and memorable times. We're already planning on going back again.
I came here for a team activity with coworkers. We were a large group and booked three of the bocce courts. They have both indoor and outdoor courts. There were a few other parties there, but it was fairly quiet and we were able to spread out quite a bit. Bocce ball was fun and accessible, even if trying it for the first time. The courts had smooth turf, not sand. They had a wooden scoreboard available so you could easily track points. An employee offered to teach us the game if we needed pointers. We ordered a ton of food and our servers were very attentive. The chips with salsa and guacamole were a big hit with our group. Their pizza was okay and had a nice crispy crust. The penne pasta was very lightly seasoned, but tasty with the fresh tomatoes. Their cheesecake was thick and dense. Overall, it was a perfect outing for our group.
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is huge. They have a large parking lot with plenty of street parking available, outdoor seating and bocce ball for customers to play. The game itself is easy to learn and hours of fun, which is perfect for large gatherings. The extensive menu offers something for everyone. During my last visit, I had the linguine and clams and it was delicious. The lamb lollipops stole the show on previous visits and so far is the best food I've tried on the menu. Can't wait to return for another round of deliciousness and bocce ball fun!
Great spot for a nice and casual setting for a large group. I came for a work holiday party and we were seated in the outdoor area where we ate and played bocce ball. Service (5/5): Stellar service! The servers were extremely attentive, thorough and checked in with our group regularly to get refills on drinks and food. Food & Drink (2.5/5): Fried ravioli: some were good but some were not. It was inconsistent with texture, seasoning and flavor. Some ravioli pieces were really burnt. Calamari: super dry and bland Bruschetta: barely touched because it did not taste good Lamb chops: were the only good thing on their menu. It was cooked well, had good texture and tasted great My drink of the night: nonalcoholic watermelon lime, very delicious! Parking: They have a parking lot available in the front but there is also street parking available
